Peter Donovan is one of the original six (see, Night of the Dog).  A creative young man who had to finish film-school in order to find out he was born a musician.  Peter, who is far brighter than most of us, has fled his native west coast homeland is search of America (thanks Steinbeck).  I fear he may have found it in Portland, Maine.  This is a selfish fear, for it means we will see a lot less of him.  However, replacing his physical absence is a flourish of creativity and inspiration: personified in music and captured in a private studio, Peter keeps us well supplied and in the greatest spirits.
